Primary@Pioneers Park, with its beautiful historic building and park setting, is the ideal venue for your birthday, wedding, engagement, anniversary or corporate functions. We customise the event to suit your budget and food and drink requirements. We can host up to 50 guests for a sit down function, or up to 120 for cocktail style. We are fully licensed and can run a bar tab on the evening with your choice of drinks. Our functions commence any time from 6pm and finish at 11pm. We are licensed until 11pm.

Our dining room has air conditioning, heating and also an open fire for those cooler evenings. When the weather suits, we open the bi-fold doors and your guests can enjoy our outdoor deck with an even closer outlook over the park and adjacent children’s playground. Our expansive outdoor deck is fully weather protected with heating.

Where are you located?
Primary@Pioneers Park is on the corner of Peel St and Lyall Rd in Berwick. The large, red brick, old school building in the corner of Pioneers Park.
Do you have parking?
There are a number of car spaces on Peel St directly in front of the venue. There is also ample parking across the road behind Dan Murphy and Woolworths and on the other side of the park in Brisbane St.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, our functions cater for dietary requirements. Please inform us of your guests needs no later 14 days from your event so we can do our best to cater for any special requests.
What time can my function start and finish?
The earliest start time at the Primary@Pioneers Park function space is 6pm and we are licensed until 11pm.
Can we bring our own decorations and when can we drop them off to the venue?
Yes, you can provide your own decorations, but please keep in mind that everything must be taken with you at the end of the evening. Because we are trading during the day, decorations etc, can’t be dropped off until after 3.30pm.
Can we bring a cake?
Yes, you can bring a cake to celebrate at functions. A $2 cakeage fee per guest applies.
